De avond voor Koningsdag kleurt Amstelveen al oranje! Op het Stadsplein vindt dan namelijk een muzikale Koningsnacht plaats. Van 18.00 tot 23.00 uur.
Stichting Amstelveen Oranje en de horeca op het Stadsplein slaan hun handen ineen tijdens deze muzikaal avond voor Koningsdag. Bij de horeca zijn eten en drinken verkrijgbaar en Stichting Amstelveen Oranje zorgt voor een bijzondere show met DJ Nijkie, verschillende dansers, slagwerkgroep Bovenkerk en een laser- en vuurshow. Ook zal er een toffe photobooth zijn waar je al goed in oranjesferen kunt komen. En de mooiste plaatjes met vrienden en vriendinnen kunt schieten.
Rond 22:00 uur zal burgemeester Tjapko Poppens Koningsnacht officieel openen. En daarmee opent hij meteen alle Koningsactiviteiten in Amstelveen. De toegang is gratis en alle leeftijden zijn welkom. Door een knusse opstelling van het podium, tegenover Day Foodbar, zal het een gezellige avond worden op het Stadsplein. Een Koningsnacht zoals Koningsnacht bedoeld is.

An actual King's Night takes place in Amstelveen City Centre from 6 pm to 11 pm. Amstelveen Oranje Foundation and the hospitality/catering industry in the Amstelveen City Centre have joined hands to present this special musical evening for King's Night.
There will be arrangements for food and drinks and the Amstelveen Oranje Foundation will provide a special show with DJ Nijkie and other dancers, along with the Bovenkerk percussion group, followed by a laser and fire show.
For making the day more memorable a photo booth has been arranged to make everyone enjoy entering the Orange atmosphere and take the most beautiful pictures with friends and family.Admission is free and all ages are welcome. With a cozy arrangement of the stage, opposite the Day Foodbar, a pleasant and entertaining evening has been planned at the Amstelveen City Centre. After all, it's a Kings Night Celebration and it deserves to be special like always.
